Six Pitchers 2026

A fantasy baseball concept for people who aren't that into fantasy baseball.

Wednesday September 16th, 2026

Yesterday’s slate belonged to Jacob Misiorowski, who backed up his status as the most rostered pitcher going that day (5 selections) with a gem against the Pirates — 5.0 IP, 0 ER, and 7 strikeouts in the win. Yoshinobu Yamamoto was arguably sharper, twirling a near-perfect 7.0 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 7 K outing in Cincinnati, while Max Fried cruised to a win over Minnesota with 7.0 IP and just 1 run allowed. It wasn’t all smooth sailing on rosters, though, as Cristopher Sánchez got roughed up for 5 runs in a Philadelphia loss to Washington, and Aaron Ashby and Foster Griffin turned in modest no-decisions. Turning to today, the probable slate is thinner but notable — Zack Wheeler looks for bounce-back support for Philadelphia against Washington, while Shota Imanaga (2 selections) draws a tough Atlanta lineup and Nick Martinez takes the ball for Tampa Bay against the Athletics.
